World-Class Podium Presentations Offer SLAS2013 Participants a Wide Range of Learning Opportunities
SLAS2013 offers participants a world-class scientific program that showcases the top laboratory science and technology podium presentations from industry leaders around the world. Each podium presentation is hand selected by the SLAS2013 Annual Conference Program Committee from hundreds of abstract submissions. Presentations offer SLAS2013 participants compelling content and new perspectives on emerging laboratory technologies from a broad range of industries, including drug discovery and development, informatics, clinical diagnostics, food and agricultural sciences, forensics and security sciences, petrochemicals and energy, and consumer products.
SLAS2013 is all about repeatable inspiration; that is the scientific creativity you experience at these presentations continue to inspire you long after you leave Orlando. A complete schedule of podium presentations including podium abstracts is available via the Event Scheduler.
SLAS2013 Educational Tracks
The SLAS2013 scientific program features seven educational tracks, including Assay Development and Screening, Automation and High Throughput Technologies, Drug Target Biology, Micro- and Nanotechnologies, Bioanalytical Techniques, Informatics and Diagnostics. SLAS2013 presents 130 unique podium presentations that span seven educational tracks and 33 sessions. Podium presentations are presented on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in both morning and afternoon sessions. The Annual Conference Program Committee has finalized podium presentation schedule and a complete schedule of sessions and presentations within each track is posted within the Event Scheduler.
At SLAS2013, 300+ poster presentations are on display and participants are able to review a vast number of topics and experience thought-provoking ideas. Posters are displayed on Monday and Tuesday with actual presentations taking place between 1-3 pm on either Monday or Tuesday. The Annual Conference Program Committee begins poster reviews in October and confirms posters on a on a rolling basis between mid-November and December 31, 2012 or until the poster program is full. SLAS2013 offers an impressive line-up of keynote speakers, all of whom use direct experience and examples to showcase the importance of laboratory science and technology. Speakers include a pioneer in the potential clinical applications of circulating tumor cells, a Nobel Prize winner in chemistry and an Emmy-award winning television journalist detailing his personal medical journey. Each one will deliver a thought-provoking and insightful keynote address. Keynote speakers are invited to present by the SLAS2013 Annual Conference Program Committee.
